Pets are a unique and exciting mechanical feature introduced to Grow A Garden in Update 1.04.0. These adorable companions come with special abilities that enhance gameplay—some offer boosts to crop growth, others increase harvest yields or improve chances of rare item drops. Players can stack abilities by equipping multiple Pets of the same kind, though certain Pets like the Owl have non-stackable effects. Initially, players can equip up to 3 Pets, but by acquiring or trading aged pets, they can unlock up to 5 additional slots, allowing for more powerful combinations. The pet inventory can hold a maximum of 60 Pets; however, this limit can be temporarily bypassed by purchasing pet eggs and delaying their hatching. Keep in mind that to hatch an egg, players must make room by deleting existing pets. Pets add another layer of strategy and charm to the Grow A Garden experience, making your garden not only more productive but livelier too.
